Martello valley, known as the valley of the
small fruits, is
certainly the most important production area in Europe for strawberries
in the mountains, whose high quality and taste can be attributed to the
favorable climate and dry.
In this context, since 1989, GEM operates a
cooperative society which has the support of 65 members for the average
production of 1,500 tons of small fruits and vegetables.
