Crossing the railway bridge just outside of Volterra, in the village of San Lazzero, meets Trattoria Da Badò the historic inn, which boasts a culinary reputation over fifty years, today renewed by Giacomo and Michele.
In the menu, including pasta dishes, stand out as local recipes: soup Volterra, game dishes, or savory "cod rebuilt. " The desserts are homemade Mamma Lucia.
Particular attention is paid to the choice of labels, including an excellent house red, made in the area of Suvereto.
Among them: Chianti, Chianti Riserva, Morellino di Scansano, and the Brunelli Supertuscans.
